Learning through Immersive Media

Each year, SONA Immersive Storytelling Festival brings together students and international creators to share work that explores culture, technology, and the evolving possibilities of storytelling. For students, it is a chance to grow, to build their portfolios, strengthening applications, and connect with a wider creative world.

Through the CETIC Foundation, we work with leading schools and universities across Asia, including the University of Hong Kong's Academy for the Talented, to bring these opportunities to exceptional young people.

About CETIC and INNOVARES

CETIC drives education and technology initiatives across Asia, bringing together creative media, data science, and immersive technologies. Working with professors from Carnegie Mellon University, home to some of the world's leading programs in AI, Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, CETIC Education is launching INNOVARES in 2025 to 2026.

The program runs across two areas: Creative Tech, which encompasses Extended Reality, Filmmaking, Animation, and Cultural Game Design, and Human Tech, focused on Data Science and Social Impact.

It is designed for students who want to explore technology at the intersection of creativity and application.
